A transport platform is more than a dashboard.
LetzCommute manages employee transportation through web dashboards and mobile experiences. Administrators, clients, partners, contractors, and passengers all use the same ecosystem—but each arrives with a different responsibility. At Teknika Solutions, I redesigned key parts of this existing B2B SaaS product to make those responsibilities easier to navigate without removing the functionality the business depends on.
- Existing B2B SaaS product redesign
- Role-specific web and mobile experiences
- Workflow simplification and information architecture
- Reusable components and interaction patterns
The complexity belonged in the system, not in every task.
The challenge was not to add more features. It was to help people find the information and actions already available. Across management, compliance, billing, and transport operations, unclear navigation and inconsistent patterns could make everyday tasks harder to follow. My goal was to bring clarity to those workflows while preserving their business requirements.
- Administrators: platform activity and management records
- Clients: relevant transport and account information
- Partners and contractors: operational responsibilities
- Employees and passengers: straightforward mobile journeys
Understand the whole before changing the parts.
I began with the existing product, its documentation, stakeholder requirements, and the relationships between modules. Research, knowledge transfer, and competitor analysis gave the redesign its context. Rather than treating each screen as a separate problem, I considered what each role needed to see, decide, and do—and used that understanding to shape navigation and page structure.
Give every role a clearer path through the product.
I organized screens and workflows around user responsibilities, then refined their information hierarchy. Metrics, tables, filters, statuses, and actions were arranged around the purpose of each screen. Shared patterns brought consistency to user, client, partner, and contractor management, while role-specific content kept the experience relevant to the task.
- Relevant information before supporting detail
- Recognizable statuses and clearly labeled actions
- Consistent navigation across related modules
Make the next step easier to recognize.
In Trust & Compliance, I focused on document details, review statuses, and actions such as approval, rejection, and requesting a re-upload. For Billing & Settlements, I organized invoice information, verification details, and activity history. In transport operations, the emphasis was on structured, time-sensitive information. Reusable components and high-fidelity prototypes connected these decisions across web and mobile; stakeholder feedback, developer collaboration, and reviews with junior designers helped refine the work.
- Clear document review and verification journeys
- Readable invoice statuses and review history
- Structured operational information
- Shared components with predictable interaction states
From designing screens to understanding systems.
LetzCommute strengthened my ability to balance user needs, business requirements, technical constraints, and design consistency. The work aimed for clearer workflows and a more cohesive product experience—not simply a visual refresh. My biggest learning was that a useful interface starts with understanding how the whole ecosystem works. Verified task-completion or efficiency measurements are not available, so numerical improvements are not claimed.
